With the Premier of Victoria, Daniel Andrews’, announcement that children in Victorian government schools will move to remote and flexible learning in Term 2, this is a timely reminder not to forget to keep your children safe while online.

Every Australian parent should take the time to read the attached COVID-19 Global Online Safety Advice for Parents and Carers. Particularly note the top 10 tips to keep your child safe online.

Remember, “Even if you are at home together, it is not possible to monitor your child’s online activities every second of the day. It is important to talk with them about online safety issues to help develop their critical thinking and ability to make good choices.”
